About the Role
The Eligibility Coordinator in an exciting new position that plays a key role in helping individuals and families begin their journey with The Ark. This position ensures that every household is accurately and efficiently assessed for services while maintaining a respectful, empathetic experience. As one of the first points of contact for many clients, the Eligibility Coordinator sets the tone of compassion and dignity — collecting necessary documentation, determining eligibility, and helping connect clients to the right supports.

What You’ll Do
Complete household eligibility assessments.
Collect and verify required documents (income, residency, identification).
Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce and other systems.
Determine eligibility for programs such as food, case management, and medical/dental care.
Collaborate with case managers and other staff to ensure smooth client onboarding.
Participate in team meetings, training, and process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field required; MSW preferred.
Excellent verbal communication skills with an emphasis on kindness and compassion
Minimum 2 years of experience in social services, intake, or eligibility assessment.
Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar databases.
Commitment to confidentiality, cultural humility, and professionalism.
Appreciation for Jewish values and traditions.
